True cRew Studio Policies

Attendance Policy: Every class at True Crew Dance Company is a step forward in the educational journey of our dancers. Regular attendance is essential for continuous progress and growth. It's crucial for children to feel completely confident with their choreography to perform at our Winter Show and June Recital. Missing classes could lead to frustration for the students, their teachers, and their classmates. We encourage all students to prioritize their dance education and make attending classes a priority. Students must arrive properly prepared and dressed according to the studio Dress Code to participate in class.

Class Change Policy: Students wishing to change from one dance genre to another may do so by completing and signing a Change of Class Form in the front office. Please note: To participate in the June recital gala, students must be committed to the class or classes in which they will perform no later than November 1st.

Hurricane Policy: For the safety of our dancers and staff, the Studio reserves the right to close or cancel classes due to hurricanes or tropical storms. Tuition and fees are not refundable for hurricane-related closures. Make-up classes or schedule adjustments may be offered when possible but are not guaranteed. Closures and schedule changes will be communicated via email, studio website, or social media. Families are responsible for monitoring these communications. By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that severe weather events are unpredictable and agree to hold the Studio harmless for any disruptions caused by such events.

Monthly Tuition Policy: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Any account with payment received after the 10th of the month will be automatically assessed a $15.00 late fee. We accept cash, check, Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, and all major credit cards. A $5.00 credit card processing fee will apply to all card transactions.

No Contract / Membership Policy: We are a no-contract studio. Enrollment is structured as a membership, so families are not locked into a long-term contract. If you need to discontinue classes, all that is required is a written notice explaining that you wish to withdraw. This allows us to release your child’s reserved spot to another student. Please note that written notice must be submitted to the studio in order for enrollment and billing to be discontinued.

Parking Lot Policy: For quick visits (tuition drop-off, questions, or registration), please park only in the designated True Crew parking spaces located in front of the building. If those spaces are full, you may use the designated double-parking area behind the back building and walk up to the studio. Vehicles parked in any unauthorized areas are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Families who wish to wait while their student is in class should use the ample parking available in the double-parking area located behind the back building.

Student Drop-Off Policy: To ensure student safety and maintain an efficient traffic flow, all students must be dropped off at the main entrance door underneath the banner. Traffic should enter from the north end in front of the studio and exit to the south end. For safety and traffic flow, please remain in your vehicle during drop-off. A staff member will be at the front door to escort younger students into the studio and assist them in preparing for class.

Student Pick-Up Policy: For the safety of all students and to maintain an organized traffic flow, student pick-up will take place in the back of the building using a parent pick-up style system. Please remain in your vehicle during pick-up. A staff member will bring students to the designated pick-up area and ensure they are safely released to an authorized parent or guardian. Thank you for helping us keep our dancers safe and traffic moving smoothly.

Studio Calendar & Scheduled Closures Policy: The studio operates on a yearly calendar that outlines all scheduled closures. The studio will only be closed on the dates listed on the Studio Calendar, which is posted on our website. Tuition and class rates are calculated based on this annual calendar; therefore, no makeup classes will be offered for days the studio is scheduled to be closed.

Studio Notifications & Communication Policy: All students and families are notified of studio events and important information through multiple communication channels, including the studio website, email notifications, True Crew Parent Private Facebook Group, and WhatsApp. It is the registered family’s responsibility to stay up-to-date on all studio communications and events. Families must also ensure that the studio manager always has current and accurate contact information, including updated email addresses and phone numbers.

Waiting Room Policy: To maintain a safe and organized environment, our waiting rooms are reserved for students only and new registrants. This helps limit the number of people in the studio and supports ongoing health and safety protocols. All classes are viewable through our Family App, allowing parents and guardians to watch their child’s class and monitor progress conveniently from their phone. Please refer to the “Our Facility” tab on our website for further information regarding the Family App.
