Our Jumps & Turns classes focus on developing the strength, flexibility, balance, and technique needed for successful turns, leaps, and jumps. Dancers will work on proper body alignment, control, spotting, elevation, and execution through drills, progressions, and across-the-floor combinations. This class is designed to enhance technical skills, build confidence, and improve overall performance quality in all styles of dance.

  • Beginner: This class is held Monday 4:30–5:30 and is designed for beginner dancers learning the fundamentals of turns, leaps, and jumps. Students will focus on proper technique, balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility while building confidence through drills and progressions that support success in all styles of dance.
  • Intermediate:This class is held Monday 6:45–7:45 and is designed for dancers with prior experience who are ready to advance their turning and jumping skills. Students will work on improving technique, control, power, flexibility, and execution of a variety of turns, leaps, and jump combinations through targeted drills and across-the-floor progressions.
  • Advanced: This class is held Monday 5:30-6:45 and is designed for advanced dancers looking to refine and strengthen their technical abilities. Dancers will focus on advanced turns, leaps, jumps, and aerial movement while developing greater strength, flexibility, control, precision, and performance quality. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, consistency, and the application of these skills across all dance genres.
